DAY 1 Arrival in Guwahati → Transfer to Shillong → Visit Umiam Lake

  • Meet our representative at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station.

  • En route to Shillong, enjoy scenic views at Umiam Lake.

  • Reach Shillong, check-in to hotel.

  • Optional evening visit to the local market.

  • Overnight stay in Shillong.


DAY 2 Excursion to Mawphlang → Hike through the Sacred Grove

  • Post breakfast, transfer to Mawphlang (30 km from Shillong).

  • Guided hike through the sacred forest revered by local tribes.

  • Spot rare plants and hear intriguing local legends.

  • Return to Shillong.

  • Overnight stay in Shillong.


DAY 3 Excursion to Wahkhen → Mawrynkhang Bamboo Trek

  • Depart early for Wahkhen, the base of the bamboo trek.

  • Begin the adventurous trek crossing bamboo bridges and wooden ladders.

  • Reach the ‘King of Rocks’ pinnacle viewpoint.

  • Trek back and return to Shillong.

  • Overnight stay in Shillong.


DAY 4 Shillong to Shnongpdeng → Laitlum Canyon & Krang Suri Falls

  • Early departure for Shnongpdeng.

  • Detour to Laitlum Grand Canyon for panoramic views.

  • Visit the turquoise Krang Suri Waterfalls in Jowai.

  • Arrive at Shnongpdeng, check-in to riverside camps/homestay.

  • Overnight stay in Shnongpdeng.


DAY 5 Shnongpdeng to Cherrapunji → Visit Mawlynnong Village

  • Morning water activities on Umgnot River (optional).

  • En route to Cherrapunji, explore Mawlynnong – the cleanest village in Asia.

  • Arrive in Cherrapunji by evening and check in.

  • Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.


DAY 6 Trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge

  • Early start to Tyrna village for the root bridge trek.

  • Guided trek through forests and suspension bridges.

  • Spend time at the marvel of the living root bridges.

  • Trek back (approximately 3000 steps) and return to Cherrapunji.

  • Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.


DAY 7 Cherrapunji to Shillong → Nohkalikai & Wei Sawdong Falls

  • Depart for Shillong after breakfast.

  • En route visit:• Nohkalikai Falls – the tallest plunge waterfall in India• Hike to Wei Sawdong Falls – stunning 3-tiered waterfall

  • Continue onward journey to Shillong.

  • Overnight stay in Shillong.


DAY 8 Departure → Shillong to Guwahati

  • Breakfast and checkout.

  • En route stop again at Umiam Lake for a final glimpse.

  • Drive to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station.

  • Recommended flights after 2–3 PM.
