How Your Itinerary Will Look -

DAY 1 Arrival in Paro. Transfer to Thimphu. Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, meet our representative who will assist you with the transfer to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.Enjoy the scenic mountain roads lined with forests and quaint villages. Stop at Chuzom Bridge to admire the confluence of Paro and Thimphu rivers and a welcoming portrait of the King and Queen.Check-in at your hotel in Thimphu. If time permits, explore Thimphu—the only city in the world without traffic lights—and visit local markets.Overnight stay in Thimphu.


DAY 2 Full Day - Thimphu Local Sightseeing After breakfast, explore Thimphu’s highlights:

  • National Memorial Chorten, the tomb of the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck

  • Buddha Dordenma statue, the largest sitting bronze Buddha, overlooking Thimphu Valley

  • Simtokha Dzong, a 17th-century fortress

  • Royal Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan’s national animal, the Takin

  • Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan’s government since 1962Overnight stay in Thimphu.


DAY 3 Thimphu to Punakha via Dochu La Pass After breakfast, travel 75 km east to Punakha.Stop at Dochu La Pass to enjoy panoramic Himalayan views and visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens, built in memory of Bhutanese soldiers.Take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the Temple of Fertility, where childless couples seek blessings.Overnight stay in Punakha.


DAY 4 Punakha to Paro. Sightseeing around Paro After breakfast, drive to Paro (approx. 4 hours). Check in at the hotel and rest.Visit Drukgyel Dzong, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and historic fortress built in 1646.Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most revered temples.Overnight stay in Paro.


DAY 5 Hike to Tiger’s Nest and Visit National Museum After breakfast, prepare for the iconic hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), perched 900 meters above Paro Valley.Hike 2-4 hours through pine forests to this sacred site. Spend time meditating, exploring caves, and enjoying prayer chants.Return to Paro for a restful evening.Overnight stay in Paro.


DAY 6 Departure After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey.Take home a treasure trove of happy memories from your Bhutan adventure.
